savor
here's a quote I came up with while reading through "Pleasures Evermore" by Sam Storms (great book, i recommend it):
Savoring the sweetness of the Savior turns sin sour in our souls.
It's only through realizing who Christ is and what He has done for us and How much He loves us etc. etc. etc. that we will truly become dead to sin and have no desire for it.

true again! this blog is great!
totally unrelated to the post:
hey, remember how we all used to gang up on people and make them feel guilty for saying something? Remember that one time we made that girl cry in the cafe? I can remember her face, but not her name or what we said to make her cry. do you remember?
tim, you crack me up. where did that thought come from? i claim no part in it.
was it julia's friend? i vaguely remember the incident.
I was talking to some of my kids and about how we used to make people feel guilty about things like pretending one of our mom's died after someone made a joke about our mom. then I remembered. but small world, julia just found me on facebook a couple days ago and she's married with a different last name.
i'm glad she's not married with the same last name.
SHARON! her name was sharon! do you remember how we made her cry?
sharon? i don't remember that. but i think it was what you said...about saying that someone's mom had died right after they made a joke about "your mom". woops.
